I am wearing the size large - this is my typical size and I would say they fit pretty true to size, erring on the larger side. It has a stretchy waist, so you could size down. They also are longer, so if you are short, you may have to wear a chunkier soled shoe. They will be PERFECT for taller/long legged gals! I am 5'7 for reference, and they were pretty long on me.
